CHAP (Crop Health & Protection)RIPE Building Services and the University of Warwick are proud to showcase the many benefits of growing within a full natural light, protected crop environment vs. growing within the restricted daylight spectrum offered by a traditional glasshouse.

You should attend this event to discover the options when building or refitting your growing operations and understand how your choices will impact your crop output and taste, for the lifetime of the chosen building.

By attending this event, you will learn about:

• The dramatic impact of growing your protected crops under full-spectrum natural daylight vs. growing within a traditional (restricted light) glasshouse environment.

You will see presentations from leading industry figures discussing their own experiences of growing under full natural daylight including:

 

KEYNOTE SPEAKER:

• Clive Farrell, Butterfly World, international expert with 40 years of insight into how insects respond to light under different glazing materials, crucial for improving biological pesticide control.

 

INDUSTRY SPEAKERS:

• Rob Parker, from the British Leafy Salad Association. One of the UK’s largest propagators of protected salad crops, growing under full natural daylight for the past two decades.

• George Beach, Mudwalls Farm, one of the UK’s leading growers and packers of British grown, fine fresh foods.

• Jack Ward, CEO of the British Growers Association.
