Tom Ashfield launches CHAP Lockdown Learning contribution

CHAP has made its first contribution to the EatFarmNow Lockdown Learning website.

The first video contribution, features Tom Ashfield who introduces the concept of Imaging.

Tom talks through how imaging is used in the CHAP Digital Phenotyping Lab at Rothamsted and looks at the equipment he uses and the images that can be produced. This video is then backed up with an activity introduced by Grace and Ava (nieces of Innovation Hub Lead Dr Jenna Ross) and, showing how to track changes in a plant using a smart phone, a white flower and some food colouring. We’re tempted to give it a go ourselves!

Look out for more CHAP content in the coming weeks.
