Online AgTech show raises £16,000 for rural charities

Billed as The Greatest Online Agricultural Show, an event held on the first weekend in May has raised more than 16 times its target of £1000.

The total, as this article goes to press, has topped £16,000 (£18,000 including gift aid).

The funds will be shared between RABI, the DPJ Foundation, the Farming Community Network, YANA and RSABI.

And the good news is that because the show was virtual, you can still visit it even now, and contribute to the charities.

The brainchild of David Hill, the Online Ag Show includes all the staples you would expect to see at the best country shows. There is a Livestock, Dog and Equestrian Area, Beer and Food Tents, Agri-Tech hub and Innovation for Agriculture Tent to name just a few.

CHAP is delighted to be exhibiting in the latter, as well as being represented in the Education Zone, through its links to the EatFarmNow #LockdownLearning campaign.
