The morning of Tuesday 23rd June saw the inaugural event of CHAP’s micro-webinar programme.
As the name suggests, the webinar, hosted by CHAP’s Head of Marketing Darren Hassall, was not long but it was full of interesting and relevant content.
The hour-long event was jam-packed with useful information aimed primarily at CHAP members, who made up the majority of the audience of the well-attended event.
There were two speakers, who both presented for circa 15 minutes before CHAP Innovation Hub Leads Jenna Ross and Richard Glass hosted an interactive Q&A session.
The first speaker was James Garratt of CHAP Member, Enviresearch who spoke about the Future of Regulation in Crop Protection.
James was followed by Pedro Carvalho of the KTN (Agri-food & Crops) who gave an insightful presentation of all the current useful activities the KTN are undertaking as well as some great tips for putting together a successful grant bid.
Following the event, Darren said: “After today’s successful launch, we aim to put on a regular schedule of micro-webinars to increase the CHAP network and offer the chance to our members to showcase their businesses, ideas and ultimately create more collaborative opportunities.”
The next micro-webinar is planned for the end of July.
