DIT Delivering Through Sector Knowledge Event at NAFIC

On October 8th CHAP welcomed the agri-tech section of the Department of International Trade (DIT) to York, along with commercial officers from 16 countries.

The global team were introduced to UK Agri-Tech Centres CHAP, CIEL and Agri-EPI and Richard Glass from CHAP gave a presentation about CHAP’s capabilities, with Fera’s Rachel Benstead showcasing the Mesocosm and Judith Turner, Crop MonitorPro.

CHAP’s capabilities were brought to life by hearing from three businesses that CHAP works with; Liberty Produce (CHAP Partner), P.E.S. Technologies and Micromix (CHAP members). Louise Saw was pleased to be able to offer members the opportunity to promote their businesses and the Commercial Officers had many questions for them and were very keen to see how they could work with them once back in their own country.

Following this event and through the DIT, CHAP members have also been invited to take part in an opportunity to meet the UAE Minister for Food Security at a business forum event.

If you have any general questions or want to contact the CHAP team to discuss a specific project, send us an email at enquiries@chap-solutions.co.uk
