CropMonitor Pro showcased at AICC Conference

CHAP Commercial Director Linsey Cresswell and Business Development Manager Chris Delf attended the AICC conference at Whittlebury Manor, near Towcester, earlier this month. Members of The Association of Independent Crop Consultants gather for three days each year to discuss new science, share experiences and debate often controversial topics.

The annual conference is the largest group of independent agronomists in Europe and one afternoon is set aside for a technical exhibition.

CHAP took part in the event, using the time and space to talk about and promote CropMonitor Pro.

The stand attracted a great deal of interest and a number of agronomists were keen to sign up for the CMP trial.

All the agronomists we spoke to mentioned how difficult the autumn had been for establishing crops and the challenge of deciding what to do with all the land available for spring cropping.

Most spring cereal seed is sold out, leading some farmers to think about fallowing land and planting cover crops to help soils recover from the wet conditions. So look out for a few novel crops when out and about next summer.
