Applications invited to join British delegation at New Zealand’s Fieldays event

The British High Commission Wellington, and the UK Department for International Trade in Auckland, are inviting applications to join a delegation of UK agri-tech businesses to attend Fieldays 2020.

National Agricultural Fieldays 2020 is the flagship event of the New Zealand National Fieldays Society, a non—profit organisation that aims to support agriculture in New Zealand. As the largest agribusiness event in the Southern Hemisphere, Fieldays attracts more than 130,000 visitors from all over the world. Held over four days in June, Fieldays presents New Zealand’s agricultural and primary sector with an international marketplace to advance agriculture, focusing on innovation, education, technology and internationalisation.

The British High Commission Wellington, with its ‘GREAT’ branded presence at the event, plans to demonstrate UK agritech innovation and agri-science expertise focused around the theme of climate change.

Successful applicants would be represented on the British stand stand, and benefits would include accomodation, entry to the event, a series of meetings and engagements with pre-identified companies and organisations in New Zealand and dedicated space to meet with Fieldays contacts.

Anyone interested in joining the British delegation needs to submit an application by 5pm on Friday 13th March.
