The Oxford Farming Conference (OFC) has appointed four new Directors for a three-year term running from the 2022 to the 2024 conference. The appointments bring a breadth of experience across the public, private, voluntary and non-governmental sectors, and skills ranging from communications, applied science, governance and policy.
In addition to Dr Jenna Ross, the new directors include:
Will Evans, a farmer who finds time to host the Rock & Roll Farming podcast, and is also a co-founder and columnist of farming website EatFarmNow.
Ben Taylor-Davies, a farmer and Nuffield Scholar with expertise in regenerative farming techniques; and
Christopher Price, Chief Executive of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.
The roles are wholly honorary, with Directors volunteering their time to support the charity to deliver its annual conference, the #OFCBitesize series founded during the pandemic, and the Scholars’ and Emerging Leaders’ programmes.
The conference has strong international links and a commitment to science, which fit perfectly with Jenna’s portfolio as CHAP’s International Business Development Manager.

I look forward to helping to shape the OFC content to bring together an imaginative, innovative and diverse programme, as well as exciting opportunities for engagement and collaboration.”
The new Directors will formally join the board following the 2021 conference on 7th January, hosted via the OFC’s new interactive online platform.
