Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) is running two briefing sessions to introduce the FeedUK initiative.
FeedUK, an initiative of the Food and Drink Sector Council (FDSC) Innovation Working Group, aims to lay the foundations for an open, interoperable, resilient, digitalised food system, that will be able to respond to unforeseen events and which can also provide deep insights and learning.
The purpose of the Briefing Sessions is to provide participants with the latest information on the programme and outline the roadmap towards its achievement. It will also enable industry to co-develop the proposal that will be submitted to the Treasury. There will be two general briefings for all stakeholders, to explain the purpose, vision and process being proposed. This will be followed by sessions tailored for each tier of the food system.
By the end of the process the aim is to have secured letters of support from 100 companies from across the food system.
These will be followed by workshops for each link of the food supply chain, namely: agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, retail & wholesale, food service, regulators and technology.
To sign-up for one of the Briefing Sessions go to KTN.
