The webinars are aimed at UK AgriFood businesses that are interested in collaborating with African organisations, working together on innovative systems for sustainable management of the food production in Africa. Participants are encouraged to select sessions which most suit their areas of interest.
Following the three regional specific sessions, the week 4 event on 14th July, will inform participants about New funding opportunities and guidelines. It will include sessions on Gender Equality (a key funding requirement), Finance and Insurance, Research and Training, and Networking.
Week Five (4th August) will focus on Collaboration and networking opportunities while the sixth week (25th August) will include round table discussions from leading experts on specific African AgriFood areas, and opportunities to network with other delegates interested in these areas.
KTN took the decision to remove the regional focus following feedback on the earlier sessions and details of the agenda can be found below. In addition to this material there will also be opportunities to hear more specific information about the AgriTech Catalyst Round 10 competition with pre-recorded material being available on KTN’s YouTube channel from 13th July.
This will include details of follow-up one-to-one clinic sessions, that will be available by appointment every Wednesday from 15th July to 30th September. These will give members a chance to discuss any potential bid for the Agri-Tech catalyst Round 10 competition with a member of the KTN team.
