Climate Change and its Impacts on Plant Resistance (Online)

Event Info

The Institute for Sustainable Food (ISF)  is running a free online conference taster session ahead of the postponed International Organisation for Biological and Integrated Control (IOBC) conference. This one-day virtual event will allow networking opportunities and includes engaging talks prior to the in-person conference (originally due to be held last year but now postponed to April 2022). The event will be focused on the timely subject of “Climate change and its impacts on plant resistance against pests and diseases”.

Professor Nicola Spence, Chief Plant Health Officer and Deputy Director for plant and bee health at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (UK), and Professor Sheng-Yang He from Duke University (USA) will be giving the invited seminars about this subject.

IOBC-WPRS PR-IR 2022: Priming the Future for Healthy Plants, hosted by the The Institute for Sustainable Food (ISF) – now scheduled to take place from the 4th to 7th April, 2022 will have a whole week of speakers and activities to allow for research discussions and innovation; in-person once again (see the website for details).
