Innovate UK grant funding opportunity for COVID19 response

Innovate UK have been working on a grant scheme where they are able to provide 100% funding which is up to £50,000 for projects costing £25,000-£50,000.

IUK say the projects must be “to respond to new and urgent needs in UK and global communities during and following the Covid-19 pandemic“. Applications must demonstrate “both realistic and significant benefits for society (including communities, families and individuals) or an industry that has been severely impacted and/or permanently disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic.”.

Project costs will be paid in advance of the project start date but the deadline for applications is Friday 17th April, and projects must start by 1st June at the latest.
