CHAP is partnering with the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) to run an event on November 18th about the current agri-tech funding opportunities.
We have run several news stories over the past month about a slew of funding calls announced by Innovate UK and funded by the ISCF.
Funding calls currently open include include Future Food Production Systems, Science & Technology into Practice & UK-China: precision for enhancing agricultural productivity.
The Consortia Building for the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF) Funding Calls event will give attendees the opportunity to learn more about the available funds, work out which calls are appropriate for them to apply for, assist in building consortia and flag up future calls.
During the day we will help build novel, multidisciplinary consortia for these ISCF calls and KTN’s Chris Danks will give a presentation on writing a successful funding application. There will be an opportunity to discuss potential opportunity areas to collaborate with CHAP such as: digital architecture in vertical farming, the circular nutrient economy & digital agronomy. Delegates will also learn about CHAP’s existing network capabilities and how SMEs can benefit from the unique facilities within CHAP, for proposals as either RTO, collaborator or subcontractor.
The event runs from 9.30am to 5pm on Monday November 18th at the Business Design Centre, Upper Street, Islington, London, N1 0QH. It is free to attend for CHAP members, and costs just £25 plus VAT for non-members, but places are limited and delegates need to book in advance at eventbrite.
